Pre-hospital and Emergency Room confirmation of 12 lead ECG Findings are critical because the Majority of Deaths with STEMI patients occur within the first 2 hours. Expedited transfer to a Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) equiped healthcare facility.
This dynamic Hybrid course that combines the power of online training with the practical hands on component in the classroom designed to help save lives by shortening the amount of time before ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) patients receive appropriate treatments. This Medical Training Course Prepares healthcare providers to recognize STEMI using a 12-lead ECG, and covers understanding STEMI systems of care; the basics of Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) and triage of STEMI patients; acquiring high-quality, 12-lead ECGs; and 12-lead findings that mimic STEMI. Includes a practice 12-lead ECG test and a 2-part American Heart Association exam and a practical round table practice with an experienced instructor. Approved for Continuing Education Credit for Nurses and EMS Providers by ENA and CECBEMS. Supports the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline(TM) initiative. Students who successfully pass the cognitive and ECG recognition post-course tests can receive a completion certificate, become eligible for CE credits, and may enroll in a Mission: Lifeline Recognized Provider program.
This Course includes a 2 hour Round Table Practical Hands Discussion medical training and practice with Dr Rendon or another experienced Instructor.
