DESCRIPTION:
Telemetry is the remote measurement of a patient's heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, electrocardiogram information and oxygen level. Telemetry equipment then sends the information to a remote location, typically the nurses station, where it is monitored. Telemetry certification is intended for LPNs, LVN's, medical technologists, medical assistants and certified nursing assistants
Topics explored in this course include but are not limited to Gross Anatomy of the Heart and Nervous System. Mechanical and Electrical conduction through the Heart, Focused Medical Terminology, Electrode application for acurate ECG Tracings. Monitoring Equipment, Trouble Shooting. ECG Rythum Analysis and much more.
This Course Satisfies ( BART Requirements ) for a entry level position as a Telemetry Technician and provides you with 24 CEU's for CNA.

BART ( Basic Arrhythmia Recognition Telemetry)

CA CNA,EMT,Certification required.
